3D-coordinate measuring

CNC- contour-controlled THREE-COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE

Type IOTA 12.03 DIAMOND

  • The measuring volume of our 3D-coordinate measuring machine amounts in X= 1,300 mm, Y= 900 mm, Z= 600 mm
  • Die axiale Längenmeßunsicherheit = U1 beträgt: U1 = (4 + 4 L / 1,000) µm

  • The three-dimensional length measurement inaccuracy = U3 amounts: U3 = (5 + 5 L / 1,000) µm (L in mm)

The 3D-measuring machine is positioned in an air-conditioned room and is equipped with active vibration dampers for absorbing ground vibrations.

We use for measurement reading a Renishaw PH9 probe with indexing head. The slewing range amounts in the horizontal plane ±180°, in the vertical plane 0 to 105°. The probe is indexing every 7.5° in both directions. The probe allows a maximum extension of 200 mm. Including measuring inset and probe top it is equivalent to a maximum immersion depth of 275 mm. The requisite probe length, which is necessary for measuring at housings, for example has to be deducted from the measuring volume.

Following elements are measured resp. calculated:

Point, line, circle, plane, slotted hole, rectangle, ellipse, cylinder, cone, ball


Additional calculations can be done like e.g.:
Bolt circle, section, projection, symmetry, position (concentricity). Meßwertausgabe erfolgt mit entsprechenden kartesischen oder polaren Koordinaten, und wenn notwendig mit Winkelangabe. The measurement output is done with appropriate Cartesian or polar coordinates, and with declaration of the angle if necessary. If the minimum number of measuring points is exceeded a form error can be emitted at an element.

 

At more than 3 to 5 equal housings (depending on the numbers of elements) the generation of a program for the CNC-measuring mode is useful.
