NEW: REFORM Swing 260

for powerful working on steep slopes

REFORM represents a new rotary disc mower for the hilly scenery mechanization - the new Swing 260. The focal points at development were coupling near the axle, solid light as well as optimal ground adaptation.

The new powerful rotary disc mower Swing 260 performs clear cutting at high power even at difficult harvest- and ground conditions and is optimal adapted to Metrac and Mounty. Its solid lightweight construction, coupling near the axle and the large oscillation travel come to excellent cross-country ability and ground preservation. Good traction with low power demand saves fuel, increases profitability and provides safety at slope. Flat, helical mower disks provide special crop-cushioning and best crop drain. The crop is lifted after cutting, slides over the bar and is deposited in loose swathes. The flat construction of the cutter bar guarantees deep cut and the high flow allows high mowing speed even at compact, high vegetation.

The patented dual drive divides up the driving forces, contributes to the low weight of the new Swing 260 and supports the consistent system construction of REFORM rotary disc mower .

The new oscillating device with attenuation offers an enormous oscillation travel; the Swing 260 follows complete unevenness of the terrain without problems.

As another advantage the wear-free anti-collision safety device by pressure springs has to be mentioned, it protects effectively against damages.

REFORM emphasises its high provider competence at development and manufacturing of implements for difficult terrain. They are the result of decades of experience at mower constructing in combination with innovative, practice oriented development for the purpose of technical progress. The new disc mower is represented to the general public at the agricultural fair Rieder Herbstmesse 2005 in Ried. Selected customers and interested persons were straightaway enthusiastic at practice demonstration of the new Swing 260, which was carried out in advance. The new disc mower Swing 260 is already fully available.
