New REFORM Truck fleet

In the year 2006, REFORM started to sort out the old pool of trucks. Too little power and excessive diesel consumption made it necessary to replace the old "fuel guzzlers".

The first truck of the new pool of vehicles arrived at the REFORM works as early as in May 2006. A brand-new MAN TGA 18.390.

The "heart" of this high-power transporter is a 390 HP engine with a "ventilation volume" of 10.5 litres.

This series of the company MAN is characterised by a high service load and a high loading capacity, good manoeuvrability, a favourable total height, powerful engines and much space in the driver’s cab.

The new trucks are exactly tailored to the REFORM requirements, so Hubert Altenhofer, logistics expert at the REFORM works Wels.

Altenhofer: Our trucks are exactly tailored to the REFORM machinery. If the trucks or the trailers were only 5cm shorter, we would no longer be able to load so many machines.

Mr Altenhofer was particularly enthusiastic about the two-level loading system which makes the REFORM pool of vehicles so unbeatable.

Altenhofer: On the lower level of the trailer, you can load Metracs, for example, while there is still space on the "upper floor" for REFORM disc mowing machines or REFORM Semos!

The renewal of the pool of vehicles was completed in the summer of 2007.

The REFORM works is particularly proud of the design of the new vehicle pool, which was developed by the company itself. They worked for days on end to collect, edit and "photo-mount" the necessary photographic material. And the result is something to be proud! Not only the REFORM machinery, but also the design is "Made in Austria".

The REFORM works Wels hopes that all their drivers will enjoy the ride!!!
